HWAG RE built
We have been experts in the maintenance and service of diesel engines for more than 60 years. Our HWAG RE built programme includes rebuilt engines with the scope of delivery of your equipment, as well as a replacement programme for all VM injectors.
Services at a glance
Engine overhaul
We will work with you to determine whether a full service or partial service will meet your requirements.
An overhaul includes the following work:
- Complete engine disassembly
- Thorough cleaning and inspection of all parts
- Overhaul or replacement of all injection nozzles and injection pumps
- Turbocharger replacement
- Water pump replacement
- Survey of cylinders/pistons and treatment or repair
- New bearings
- Overhaul or replacement of cylinder heads
- Installation-ready assembly of the complete engine
- Engine assembly on the test bench, run-in programme, engine preservation
- Tightening of the cylinder head and all bolts, valve adjustment
- Fully painting the engine with synthetic resin pain
Rebuilt engines
If servicing your current engine is no longer worth it, a rebuilt engine may be the most appropriate solution. A rebuilt engine is a cost-effective alternative to a new engine, whilst still offering the same level of quality. We guarantee prompt availability from stock, a full performance check and a 12-month warranty. This includes manufacturer-compliant engine preparation and adjustment to the original acceptance conditions. Using rebuilt engines also helps to conserve valuable resources and avoid new production.

Diesel service
With our injector test bench, we can diagnose potential problems in common rail injectors from Bosch, Delphi and Denso. The injectors are cleaned on the test bench and tested with various load states. When the test is complete, the injectors are returned to you with new IMA coding. If one or more injectors is faulty, we can provide a replacement. If you obtain replacement injectors from us, you will pay nothing for testing.
